Seany Bailey

Meet Seany Bailey, an 18-year-old singer/songwriter hailing from Melbourne, Derbyshire.

Sean began writing his own songs back in 2024, inspired by none other than his Step-Dad, Andrew Horth, who’s making waves in the music scene as HorthWorld.

By the end of 2024, he took a big leap and recorded his first ever single ‘That Certain Someone.’ This heartfelt track was recorded and brought to life with the help of Natt Webb at RatCat Studios.

Valentine’s Day 2025 marked the day when ‘That Certain Someone’ (an alt country rock song about a young man yet to meet the girl of his dreams) officially dropped as his debut single!

This was followed by ‘Chasing Fantasies’ which is an old school electronic rock song that takes you on a journey through space, telling the story of longing for a world where everything you desire falls into place effortlessly but then realising that you actually have to pursue your dreams in order to get what you want out of life (to make those fantasies a reality!) which he released on first Friday of June 2025.

Both songs got some love being played on BBC Introducing East Midlands just a day before they were released!

He’s been showcasing his talent at local open mics and as he looks ahead, he’s eager to dive into more gigs and festivals, sharing his music with even more fans.
