Burton Bass

Burton Bass is a vibrant collective of five Drum & Bass DJs and producers from Burton‑upon‑Trent: Si‑Re, R3IDY, Invert, phevans and LUTMx. Rooted in jungle & drum & bass, they cover a range of bass music, including 140 / dubstep and breaks.Born out of the inaugural Sonic Boom Festival, they’ve built a dedicated local following by hosting free Drum & Bass events at venues like Bar XV, Brews of the World, and Leopard Inn. They're now an integral part of the Burton scene, with fortnightly shows on Burton Radio showcasing mixes from residents and up-and-coming DJ's from around the world.

But Burton Bass isn't just about the local community - they're building connections with other grassroots collectives around the UK. Passionate about solidarity and the DIY spirit, they're always looking for ways to energise the scene, keep it kicking, and prove that you don’t need to be in a big city to make a big noise.
